Solace can now be bridged through the Rainbow Bridge, which is the bridge from Ethereum to Aurora. If you want to take advantage of the current juicy APYs on Solace-Aurora, here are the steps to follow.
How to Bridge $SOLACE from Ethereum to Aurora
If you want to get started using Aurora and bridge ETH, SOLACE, or any other token from Ethereum mainnet, below are the steps to do so:
- Go to the Rainbow Bridge app and connect your wallet.
2. Once connected, select Begin new transfer.
3. You’ll be asked to choose a token. To choose $SOLACE, first select Show all tokens. Then, put the $SOLACE contract address in the search bar (0x501acE9c35E60f03A2af4d484f49F9B1EFde9f40). Click Add token.
4. Select the amount of $SOLACE you would like to bridge. Click Continue.
5. Once you’re ready, click Confirm Transfer and approve the transaction in your wallet.
6. Wait for the transfer to complete (usually takes 10 minutes).
When bridging $SOLACE from Ethereum to Aurora, the $SOLACE turns to $bSOLACE (wrapped $SOLACE). You’ll need to unwrap your $bSOLACE to $SOLACE. Fortunately this step is pretty easy.
7. Go to the Solace website and choose the Aurora network.
8. Go to the Staking page and look for the button that says Bridge.
9. Click on Bridge. Unwrap your $SOLACE by first clicking Approve, and then clicking Unwrap.
10. Congrats! You’ve successfully brought $SOLACE from Ethereum mainnet to Aurora! Now you can get to staking and earning more $SOLACE.
